Asfirdaus brings an unusual combination to corporate advisory — an engineer's discipline for structure and detail, sharpened by close to a decade of hands-on involvement in some of Malaysia's most complex corporate transactions.
Trained as a Civil Engineer at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, he began his career in infrastructure project management before moving into the commercial and contracts side of large-scale development — giving him a practitioner's understanding of how projects are financed, negotiated, and delivered at scale.
His corporate career spans the full transaction lifecycle. He has been involved in public market transactions including a Mandatory General Offer on a Bursa-listed company, a listed company restructuring and rebranding exercise, asset divestment as a company CEO, and pre-listing advisory for capital-raising exercises. He has also built and exited an owner-operated business — giving him direct empathy with the entrepreneurs he now advises.
Today Asfirdaus focuses on transaction facilitation and deal origination, capital markets readiness and pre-transaction preparation, and alternative financing facilitation for Malaysian SMEs and mid-market companies — helping business owners prepare for the transactions that most advisers only understand in theory.
Khairul knows brand growth from the inside. As co-founder of Abang Burn Burger Bakar, he built a Malaysian food brand from a single concept into a recognised name — navigating the full journey from product development and brand identity through to franchise growth and multi-outlet operations since 2012.
That experience translates directly into advisory. Khairul works with SME founders and consumer businesses on brand positioning, go-to-market strategy, and franchise structuring — drawing on what he actually lived through rather than what textbooks recommend.

Ruzaini is the founding principal of Hafiz Ruzaini & Co, a practising law firm with expertise in corporate law and governance.
